90-Day Plan: Thorium Reactor

This project proposes the deployment of Thorium Reactor power stations across Nigeria, beginning with a pilot plant in Akwa Ibom State and expanding to one or two reactors in each of the 36 states. Thorium is favored for its safety, abundance, and efficiency over traditional uranium. The initiative aims to address Nigeria’s persistent energy deficit, drive economic growth, reduce carbon emissions, and position the country as a leader in nuclear innovation in Africa. Spanning 30 years with an estimated cost of $143.5 billion, the project includes feasibility studies, construction, national rollout, and optimization phases, delivering reliable, clean energy and nationwide development benefits.
