Project: Lakel Mining Operation

Lakel Mining Operation is a licence-holder-level mining governance and monitoring project within the wider National Licence Monitoring context. Lakel Group proposes to develop mining activity in Nigeria through subsidiaries including Faithful Minerals Mining, Hosannah Projects and Industry, Life Light Energy, Jimaj Energy Services, Lakel Jewelries and Clothing Line, and Lakel Gateway. The operation is intended to cover exploration, site preparation, infrastructure development, environmental management, and future extraction activity, with lithium as the main strategic focus. The PHC Service would provide governance oversight, operational monitoring, risk management, stakeholder reporting, community engagement support, training, and periodic sustainability review. Deployment is proposed in two phases: a 2-month setup phase to assess readiness and design the governance framework, followed by a 12-month full deployment and continuation phase with potential extension.
